Benyamen Safety Group is comprised of health and safety professionals dedicated to protecting your safety and property through comprehensive environmental testing and assessments. We offer asbestos, lead, radon, mold, mercury, radiation, and indoor air and water quality services.
In addition, we provide Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs) for real estate transactions, helping buyers, sellers, and lenders identify potential environmental liabilities before closing. Our team also performs asbestos inspections for property pre-demolition and renovation projects to ensure compliance and safe handling of hazardous materials. Our Illinois-licensed professionals bring over 25 years of experience to every project. We help homeowners, property managers, and developers take a proactive approach to maintaining healthy and compliant environments. Ben Maradkel - President/ Founder
Head Safety Assessor
Benyamen “Ben” Maradkel is the President and Founder at Benyamen Safety Group. Ben has a Public Health degree from Northern Illinois University, multiple Illinois Department of Public Health (IDPH) licenses, and has dedicated his entire professional life, over 25 years, to managing risk and protecting the health and safety of people in various industries including but not limited to chemical, construction, food & beverage, pharmaceutical, and government agencies such as the U.S. EPA. Ben decided to establish the Benyamen Safety Group when he noticed more people were spending time working from home and were potentially exposed to indoor air health hazards of which they were unaware.
To convey how much this mission means to him, Ben is also providing Pro Bono health and safety services for those in financial need. “It is more blessed to give than to receive.” (Acts 20:35)
